About Cottage Breaks Wales
Cottage Breaks Wales offers outstanding accommodation in a superb location!
Situated on a quiet no-through lane, away from the crowds of tourists yet still within easy reach of the friendly market town of Llanrwst for shops and the popular village of Betws y Coed.
Ideal places for eating out.
Pen y Ffrith is a quiet, rural retreat, surrounded by working farms. The panoramic views of Snowdonia from the lane will take your breath away, as will the spectacular sunsets!
I moved to Pen y Ffrith in 2004 and have lovingly restored and renovated the properties to provide spacious and comfortable accommodation; beautifully decorated, furnished and equipped to the highest standard – a real ‘home from home’.
Pets are always welcome. All of our properties have private enclosed gardens – safe for children and pets.
I consider myself privileged to live in such a wonderful place….quiet and rural, but not remote – with amazing views, awe inspiring mountain vistas and endless walks.
I hope that I can welcome you here so that you can also enjoy the peace and quiet, the magnificence of Snowdonia and all that North Wales has to offer.
Explore North Wales
This is an excellent base to explore North Wales and for walking, cycling, riding and climbing.
If you want to stretch your legs and lungs in serious scenery this is the place to come! You are just a few minutes’ drive from mountain biking trails, Snowdonia’s mountains, white water rafting, dry ski slopes and golf courses.
North Wales also offers an abundance of family attractions, castles, delightful towns and villages, steam trains and beaches. The beautiful lakes and rolling hills provide a tranquil setting for more relaxing walks and rambles or take a stroll through the magnificent Bodnant Gardens.
Stay near Betws y Coed
The nearest town of Llanrwst is situated in the Conwy Valley to the north of Betws-y-Coed.
Betws-y-Coed has been the premier inland resort in North Wales since the Victorian age. It is an attractive village with many quality shops, and numerous cafes, restaurants, & pubs – an ideal place for eating out.
The popular coastal towns of Conwy & Llandudno are both within an easy half an hour’s drive.
Whichever you choose, this is the ideal place to stay; outstanding accommodation in a superb location, surrounded by the stunning scenery of Snowdonia.
