Self Catering Properties North Wales
Our self catering properties are located at Pen y Ffrith Farm and Maelogan Bach, just across the lane from Pen y Ffrith Farm.
Pen y Ffrithand Maelogan Bach are rural retreats, still surrounded by working farms; mainly farming sheep & cattle. Its name translates as: Pen (head, top or edge) y (of) Ffrith (wood, mountain enclosure or sheep walk).
The Old Farmhouse was originally built in 1877 and there has been a working family farm here until 2004.
Explore North Wales
This is an excellent base to explore North Wales and for walking, cycling, riding and climbing. If you want to stretch your legs and lungs in serious scenery this is the place to come. Places to visit within half an hour’s drive include Betws-y-Coed and the Swallow Falls, Conwy, Llandudno and Blaenau Ffestiniog.
Whichever you choose, cascading waterfalls, awe inspiring mountain vistas, the cafes, restaurants, pubs and outdoor shops of Betws y Coed or the pier at Llandudno and the marina at Conwy, this is a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, with the stunning scenic backdrop of Snowdonia.
Stay near Betws y Coed
The nearest town is Llanrwst is situated in the Conwy Valley to the north of Betws-y-Coed.
It is the main market town in the Conwy Valley, with a weekly livestock market, and is the focal point for many community activities in the area. Llanrwst has shops, banks, a Post Office as well as an indoor swimming pool. There are also lovely walks along the river bank and around the recreation grounds.
